Taylor Swifts year was 2009, Danielle Teal in 2010!

This year has really started off with a bang! Being featured in the Rochester Magazine (article by Steve Lange), Post Bulletin spread in the Life section (article by Sarah Shonyo), exposure on KTTC... the first several months of 2010...WOW!!

Now I look towards the immediate future and beyond to keep the momentum going. I'm really fortunate to have a wonderful, supportive day-time job that I enjoy immensely and can do comedy in the evenings and weekends. Life is BUSY!

I have 2 shows coming up in May.

Kid's Cup Comedy Show
, May 1st- 7pm and 9pm (2 shows)

Rochester's 4th Annual St. Baldricks's Day Event, May 22- 1pm to 4pm.

BOTH events raise money and go towards kids! I feel very honored to be apart of both events.

I will also be at the Go Red for Women luncheon walking down the runway for a fashion show. This luncheon raises awareness for heart disease, the silent killer in women. Please consider coming to this event and learning more and become an ambassador in making other women aware of this disease!

And even more fun, sensational news- I will be collaborating with Sara Hobbs Khort (studio seven photography) an innovator in the photography world with my next comedy photoshoot. She appealed to me because of her creative, artistic eye...and I'm a huge fan of natural light photography (my twin sister does it too, but shes in Missouri!)

Thanks ALWAYS for your support, interest and laughs.

Easter Sunday

I've slept in, as per usual. The sun is shining through the blinds and I can tell what a gorgeous day it is outside already.

I've been pretty reflective on my comedy this weekend, where I want to take it... How far? And the answer always comes back to "I enjoy hearing laughter", "I love my view of people having a great time"

Stand up comedy is pretty special. You connect with the audience on a close level. You see right away if they relate to the joke, if they find it funny or if they think it sucked. :-)

My goal is to impact the world in a positive way, my catalyst is my comedy.

Good day!

Capitalize on Social Media

As I move forward with my comedy, I'll be tapping into many outlets of social media to see what works and what doesn't. I want to be innovative, edgy and ever present with my comedy. Keep watching as I blaze a trail. :-)
